What We Believe

At Promised Land Baptist Church, we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for faith and practice.

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was virgin-born, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again bodily, and is coming again. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone, not by works. 

We believe in the necessity of personal faith for salvation, the local church as God's instrument for ministry and mission, and the call to live holy lives in obedience to God's Word, pointing others to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
